Juliet (named after a moon in our solar system), is a harlequin merle pattern on “sealed brindle”. In other words, she LOOKS BLACK. Frenchies and Bostons do not actually have “black” as a color, it’s really a sealed brindle, and they are far less common than other colors.
If you look at her back, it appears to be “striped”, which is quite unusual, likely from a merle modifier such as Tweed or Mosaic.
*6 Week Old Update: Juliette is VERY submissive, she’s always calm around people, and always waiting to listen. She does raise a bit of hell with her littermates but turns to absolute butter as soon as you scoop her up. The last photo she FELL ALSEEP while I held her up, she’s THAT relaxed!
*8 Week Old Update: Juliette loves to frolic and play with her toys, but she’s STILL very passive when you pick her up. She might make an excellent therapy dog with her calm and measured disposition. She’s quite smart and catches on to new ideas quickly. She really strives to please and will be easy to train!
Plus she will TURN HEADS anywhere you go!
14 week update:
Juliet would do BEST in a home with kids over 5 years of age AND already has a doggy playmate OR is adopted by a family who is very active outdoors. Juliet LOVES BEING OUTSIDE and does not mind the weather. She has LOTS of energy and enjoys playing and going on adventures. She is VERY intelligent and requires a family that will foster her amazing abilities (she would NOT do well to be penned up all day, or indoors all day).
She would do BEST as a companion with you where ever you go, and wants to work alongside you.
