Zeke is one of the puppies born with a backwards leg and the vet was worried would not survive. His leg is nearly healed after 1 week and he’s doing great! He has gone from the edge of death to battling his littermates out of the way to get to a teat! He will be a velcro pup for sure! Likely max out at 25lbs.
*Zeke is LESS than his brothers due to his smaller size –
In his 9 day old photos he is fully alseep after battling gas cramps all day. He stayed sleeping through all the photos!
3 Week Update: Zeke’s leg (along with Brody’s) has fully healed and he crawls around the pen just as good if not better than his littermates. He is STILL a tiny little nugget though, despite being fully healthy. He leans much more frenchton, with a leaner build and a slightly longer nose. he has the most white of the boys.
5 Week update: Zeke is still very snuggly and is slowly trying to catch up in size to his littermates. He is NOT a velcro pup exactly, but does like sympathy snuggles. He also enjoys wandering off to explore the room on his own or with littermates.
8 Week Update: Zeke (along with Mayple) have been having reflux issues and are slowly doing better. We are experimenting with a raised dish which seems to help them. His family will not be able to take him home until December so both he and Mayple will work on improving their reflux under a careful eye and vet guidance in the meantime. Despite this he is quite vivacious and spunky at times, but tires out faster than his siblings who are much larger.
